Beyond Words: effective ways to support miscarriage, stillbirth and Infant Loss survivors
A compassionate, practical workshop equipping healthcare professionals to support families through pregnancy and infant loss.
Beyond Words is a workshop designed to equip healthcare professionals and support staff with deeper insight into the lived experience of miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss.
This training is shaped by the voices of loss mothers, who share firsthand what was helpful and what was unintentionally hurtful during their care and grief journey.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Every year, families experience the heartbreak of miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss.
In those moments, healthcare providers and ministry leaders are often the first to respond. What is said, and what is not said, can leave a lasting impact.
Many professionals want to offer meaningful support, but feel unsure how to do that well in such a tender and complex space.
Without guidance, even well-intentioned care can feel clinical, rushed, or unintentionally isolating.
This workshop is designed to bridge that gap and help you offer care that feels both compassionate and grounded.
“This showed me how to show up even when I don’t have the “right” words to say…my presence means more than I even realized.”
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
What makes this workshop especially impactful is simple.
You hear directly from loss moms.
They share their stories with honesty and vulnerability, reflecting on the care they received, what helped, what hurt, and what they needed most.
Their voices offer a perspective that clinical training alone cannot provide.
