We invite you to join us for a global event, on International Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day. The Wave of Light is a meaningful way for parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives, and friends to honor and celebrate the lives of babies in Heaven.

The Wave of Light commemorates these missed and loved babies by lighting candles from 7-8 pm in local time zones for one hour, repeating in each time zone across the planet, on October 15th. Gathering Hope is hosting a virtual Wave of Light and reading of baby names on YouTube from 7-8 pm CST.

Names submitted before October 8 will be read aloud during the hour. We invite you to join this virtual event and post a picture of your candle or share a video saying your child’s name in the comments section of the live stream. You’re also encouraged to post candle pictures/videos on your own pages, using the hashtags  #GHWOL2023  #GatheringHope and  #WaveofLight2023.

Whether you are a parent of a baby in Heaven or love someone who does, you’re invited to this special night of remembrance.
