Wave of Light

We invite you to join us for a global event, on International Pregnancy & Infant Loss Day. The Wave of Light is a meaningful way for parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives and friends to honor and celebrate the lives of babies in Heaven.

The Wave of Light commemorates these missed and loved babies with the lighting of candles from 7-8pm in local time zones for one hour, repeating in each time zone across the planet, on October 15th. Gathering Hope is hosting a virtual Wave of Light, along with a reading of baby names, on Facebook Live from 7-8pm CST.

We invite you to share names to be read aloud by clicking HERE or emailing them to info@gatheringhope.net. If you have not chosen a name for your baby, please send us an email with “Baby + Last Name” so that we can honor all babies together. Baby names *must* be submitted by October 14th at 5pm CST in order to be included in the live reading.

We invite you to join this virtual event and post a picture of your candle or share a video saying your child’s name in the comments section of the livestream. You’re also encouraged to post candle pictures/videos on your own pages, using the hashtags #GHWOL2020 #gatheringhope and #waveoflight2020.

Whether you are a parent of a baby in Heaven, or you love someone who does, you’re invited to this special night of remembrance.
