You don’t have to grieve alone.
After pregnancy or infant loss, it can feel like the rest of the world has moved forward while you’re still learning how to carry a life that looks different than you imagined.
Gathering Hope exists because we know how lonely that can be.
On March 6, loss moms will gather in Texas and in communities across the country to remember our babies, connect with women who understand, and remind one another that even in the darkest parts of grief, we are not alone.

Grief can feel dark.
It can change relationships, faith, plans for the future, and even the way you see yourself. And sometimes the hardest part is feeling like no one around you truly understands what you’re carrying.
Our theme for Gathering 2027, Light in the Darkness, isn’t about pretending the darkness isn’t there.
It’s about the light that remains in it.
Like a lighthouse standing through a storm, hope doesn’t require the waves to stop. For us, that hope is found in Jesus, the Light who meets us in our grief and remains with us in the middle of it.
And sometimes, we see that light through another woman sitting beside us who understands.
What Is A Gathering?
Gathering Hope helps loss moms overcome loneliness and find healing in community.
Each year, the Gathering creates space for women who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss to honor their babies, worship, hear stories and encouragement, and connect with other women who understand.
Sisterhood Circles make it possible to experience the heart of the Gathering in communities beyond Texas. You’ll join the Gathering Hope livestream for worship, stories, and encouragement, then spend time connecting and talking with the women gathered with you.
You don’t need to know anyone before you come. You don’t need to be at a certain place in your grief. And you don’t have to share your story unless you want to.
You can simply come.
Who Is the Gathering For?
If miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss is part of your story, there is a place for you here.
It doesn’t matter whether your loss happened recently or decades ago. It doesn’t matter how long you carried your baby or whether other people had the opportunity to know them.
Your baby matters.
Your motherhood matters.
And your grief matters.
If coming alone feels difficult, you’re welcome to bring a female support person with you. She’ll need to register as well, since space in the Sisterhood Circle is limited.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR LOCAL Sisterhood Circle
The New Jersey Sisterhood Circle will be a small Gathering of no more than 10 women, creating space for meaningful connection and conversation.
You can expect:
• Worship, stories, and encouragement through the Gathering 2027 livestream
• A meaningful opportunity to remember and honor your baby
• Time with other loss moms who understand
• Guided conversation, with no pressure to share
• A welcoming environment where tears, laughter, questions, and quiet are all okay
You’ll receive more information before the Gathering with everything you need to know about arrival, parking, and what to expect.
You Can Come Just as You Are
Some women come to the Gathering with a strong faith.
Some come with questions.
Some are angry with God. Some aren’t sure what they believe anymore.
You don’t have to have any of that figured out before you walk through the door.
Gathering Hope is a faith-rooted organization, and Jesus is at the center of the hope we share. But you won’t be asked to pretend that grief is easy, rush toward an answer, or make your story sound hopeful before you’re ready.
There is room here for grief and hope to exist together.
